Kuduro, Kwaito, Hip Life, Naija, Coupe-Decale, South African House, Reggae, Hip-Hop, Afro-Pop, and Tropical Bass will all be blended in a pan-African dish simmered hot & spicy.
This time around, we’ve invited DC’s own DJ Munch (Hedrush Music, Africa Underground) to join our celebration of the genre-crossing and rapidly evolving Afropolitan diaspora. Also holding it down from the SWENKA fam are Mothershiester (Africa is Not a Country, Anthology of Booty, Traveling While Black Isn’t Easy) and your host Brian Senyo.
