Now THIS is a Blast from the past. If you were in Boston in 2003-4, and you checked out Runnin at Ecko Lounge in Chinatown, you got down with some of the best music in the city played by the Soulchampion Crew DJs, which I was fortunate to be a member of. This was one of our promo mixes, a 4 part mixtape by the 4 DJs who formed the crew.
This is some UK Garage that was essentially the precusor to all the dubstep that is blowing up right now. Frankly, I prefer this to 99% of what is out now because of the soulful vibes and vocals on top of the dark murky beats, but anyway. ENJOY!
